PS20 System

The PS20 System, FIAMM innovation in the field of acoustic devices for emergency vehicles, combines the advantages of the systems currently used, since it guarantees not only the long alarm durability typical of electronic systems, but also the audibility, reliability and sound localisation of pneumatic systems.

This system has been designed for priority and emergency vehicles (12V or 24V) equipped with on-board air or an external compressor (minimum required airflow: 2,500 Nl/h; air pressure range: 0.8-20 bars).

The PS20 – a pneumatic system guided by an electronic control unit – is composed by the following parts:
- An electronic module (12V or 24V)
- Two or three FIAMM electrovalves
- Two or four FIAMM trumpets

The PS20 is a very powerful system (it emits a sound up to 118 dB at a distance of 2 metres) that functions indifferently either with on-board air of the vehicle or with a dedicated compressor.
